The Nike Air Zoom Alphafly Next% 3 'Obsidian Persian Violet' (FD8311-401) is Nike's marathon racing shoe in a deep Obsidian upper with Persian Violet and Volt accents. Released in October 2025 for the autumn marathon season, it combines ZoomX foam, twin forefoot Air Zoom units and a full-length carbon fibre plate.
Overview
Nike launched the Alphafly line in 2020 as its top race-day shoe, and the Alphafly 3 is the third generation. The 'Obsidian Persian Violet' colourway arrived as the brand's marathon offering for the second half of 2025.
The Alphafly 3 Obsidian Persian Violet uses an Atomknit upper in Obsidian with a white Swoosh. A Denim Turquoise pattern covers the forefoot of the ZoomX midsole, Persian Violet fades in at the heel, and Volt highlights the visible Air Zoom units and insoles. Two forefoot Air Zoom units and a full-length carbon fibre plate work with the heel-to-toe ZoomX foam, and the shoe weighs about 218g in a men's US 10 with an 8mm drop.
It is built for race day and fast long runs over the marathon distance. The dark upper and bright midsole also make it a sharp choice for runners who collect performance colourways.

Return Process
Timeline: Email orders@pushas.com within 90 days of receiving your order. Include "Order Return (Your Order Number)" in the subject line.
Costs:
- 10% handling fee applies for all returns after the 2-hour cancellation window
