The Audemars Piguet x Swatch Royal Pop 'Làn Ba' — Chinese for "Blue Eight" — is the second of just two Savonnette "side-winder" references in the May 2026 collaboration, and the most coveted. Built around the Royal Oak's octagonal bezel and eight hexagonal screws, this side-winder pocket watch (Ref. SSX03L100N) carries a crown at 3 o'clock and small seconds at 6 — the closest thing to a traditional pocket-watch layout in the entire Royal Pop line-up.
Design
Two shades of blue — a deep cobalt bezel and a lighter, sky-blue Petite Tapisserie dial — give the 'Làn Ba' a tonal, considered presence. Vertical satin finishing on the bezel and caseback reads pure AP, while Grade A Super-LumiNova on the hands and indices keeps it sharp at night.
