ASICS | Asics Gel‑Nimbus 10.1 Ocean Haze Pure Silver continues the legacy of ASICS’ most iconic cushioning silhouette by blending nostalgia from the original late‑2000s GEL‑NIMBUS with cutting‑edge comfort and support technologies. Released in 2024 as part of the GEL‑NIMBUS 10.1 lineup, the ‘Ocean Haze’ colorway pairs a serene seafoam hue with metallic silver accents across a breathable mesh upper, capturing a refined performance‑meets‑lifestyle aesthetic that’s equally suited for daily wear as much as long runs.
Overview
Rooted in the heritage of one of ASICS’ most beloved running silhouettes, the GEL‑NIMBUS 10.1 reinterprets the original GEL‑NIMBUS 10 design with modern updates like the GEL‑KAYANO 14’s dual‑layer EVA foam midsole and exposed heel tooling, delivering enhanced cushioning and stability. The Ocean Haze/Pure Silver palette introduces a calm, cool‑toned upper constructed from asymmetrical open mesh with synthetic overlays that form the iconic ASICS stripes and supportive structure, reflecting both performance intent and contemporary streetwear sensibilities. Signature rearfoot and forefoot GEL® inserts work in concert with the TRUSSTIC™ system to offer plush shock absorption and midfoot integrity, ensuring a smooth and responsive ride befitting runners and sneaker enthusiasts alike.
Key Highlights
• Breathable Asymmetrical Mesh Upper: Open mesh construction with synthetic overlays promotes airflow and comfort while maintaining support for everyday use and runs.
• Dual‑Layer EVA Foam + GEL® Technology: Midsole combines dual‑layer EVA foam and visible GEL® cushioning pods for advanced shock absorption and plush underfoot comfort.
• TRUSSTIC™ System Stability: Integrated TRUSSTIC™ support enhances structural integrity through the midfoot, balancing flexibility with torsional control.
