The Nike Kobe 6 Protro 'Reverse Grinch' (FV4921-600) inverts the famous Kobe 6 'Grinch', swapping its green upper for Bright Crimson with Electric Green accents. Released on 15 December 2023, it arrived after Anthony Davis first showed the colourway on Instagram Live in 2021.
Overview
The original Kobe 6 'Grinch' is one of the most recognisable Christmas colourways in basketball. The Reverse Grinch circulated as a rumour for almost two years before Nike confirmed it for Holiday 2023, following the renewal of the partnership between Nike and the Kobe Bryant estate in 2022.
The official colourway is Bright Crimson/Black-Electric Green. A Bright Crimson snakeskin-textured upper carries black Swooshes, while Electric Green picks out the laces and the Kobe branding on the tongue. The midsole, heel counter and rubber outsole match the crimson base.
The Kobe 6 Protro Reverse Grinch is built as a performance basketball shoe but reads just as strongly off court. The near-monochrome red makes it a statement piece with black or neutral outfits, and it is a natural pair for anyone who owns the original Grinch.

Return Process
