The Nike Air Force 1 Low SP 'AMBUSH Phantom' (DV3464-002) is AMBUSH's version of the Air Force 1 Low in a tonal Phantom off-white. Released in 2023, it is recognised by its oversized Swooshes that stretch past the heel.
Overview
AMBUSH is the Tokyo label co-founded by designer Yoon Ahn, and its work with Nike has covered apparel, the Dunk High and the Air Force 1. Nike's Air Force 1 first released in 1982 as a basketball shoe and has since become one of the brand's best-known silhouettes, giving AMBUSH a familiar base to exaggerate.
The upper is built from Phantom leather with tonal overlays, keeping the palette to a single soft off-white. The Swooshes are enlarged and extend beyond the heel counter, while co-branding sits on the tongue and insole. The Air Force 1 cupsole with encapsulated Nike Air cushioning sits underneath.
The tonal build pairs with light denim, wide trousers or all-white outfits, and the stretched Swooshes give it more shape than a standard AF1. It suits collectors of Yoon Ahn's Nike work and anyone wanting a clean collaboration pair.
